What Is the Incarnation? What Is the Substance of the Incarnation?

Bible Verses for Reference:

In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God” (Jhn 1:1).

“And the Word was made flesh, and dwelled among us, (and we beheld His glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father,) full of grace and truth” (Jhn 1:14).

I am the way, the truth, and the life” (Jhn 14:6).

“Jesus said to him, Have I been so long time with you, and yet have you not known Me, Philip? he that has seen Me has seen the Father; and how say you then, Show us the Father? Believe you not that I am in the Father, and the Father in Me? the words that I speak to you I speak not of Myself: but the Father that dwells in Me, He does the works. Believe Me that I am in the Father, and the Father in Me: or else believe Me for the very works’ sake” (Jhn 14:9–11).

I and My Father are one” (Jhn 10:30).

The Lord Has Returned and Revealed the Mysteries of the Gender of God

By Mily, United States

During my time believing in the Lord, I often heard the pastor say, “The Lord will soon come back, so we must vigilantly await Him. Now Eastern Lightning is testifying that the Lord has returned as a female. This simply isn’t possible! The Bible very clearly records, ‘This is My beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased’ (Matthew 3:17). What’s more, when the Lord Jesus prayed, He called God in heaven His Father. In that case, God certainly is a male. So the testimony of Eastern Lightning that the Lord has returned as a female is false. Don’t listen to or believe it.” After hearing these words, I nodded my head in agreement, and I thought to myself, “Yes, this is so clearly written in the Bible. Even if the Lord has come back, He couldn’t be a woman!”

Bible Verses About Sin Help You Find the Way to Be Free From Sin

Dear Sister Zhang Ying:

This is Jiang Li. How time flies! More than a year has slipped by since I came to America. How have you been doing? How is the condition of our church? I remember at a co-worker meeting, Brother Zhang said, “We believers of the Lord constantly live in the situation of sinning in the day and confessing at night, and are always bound by sins. If continuing like this, can we be raptured into the heavenly kingdom when the Lord returns?” At that time, I replied without hesitation, “The Bible says, ‘For by one offering he has perfected for ever them that are sanctified’ (Hebrews 10:14). So, although we sin every day, the Lord no longer remembers our sins, let alone sees us as sinners. We have been justified and saved by faith. As long as we work hard, spend and sacrifice for Him, the Lord won’t abandon us and will definitely take us to the kingdom of heaven when He comes.” However, Brother Zhang refuted, by saying, “We humans have received the Lord’s salvation, and He doesn’t remember our sins anymore. Yet the Lord Jesus said, ‘Be you holy; for I am holy’ (1 Peter 1:16). The Bible also says, ‘And holiness, without which no man shall see the Lord’ (Hebrews 12:14). Now, we still often sin and confess, and can’t attain holiness. So, how are we fit to enter the heavenly kingdom and see the Lord’s face? Besides, the Lord Jesus never said that all believers can enter the heavenly kingdom so long as they labor for Him. I think entering the heavenly kingdom is not as easy as we imagine. Though I am uncertain of this, I think there is truth in here to seek.” When having such an argument, all of us were lost in confusion, not knowing how to enter the kingdom of heaven. I thought: The disasters in recent years get greater and greater, and from various signs we can judge that our Lord must have come, but we don’t understand this aspect of truth. In such a case, won’t we be forsaken when the Lord comes? So, in order to understand this aspect of truth, after I came to America, I sought many spiritual pastors and elders, but their understandings were nearly the same as ours. Thus, the puzzle in my heart still couldn’t be solved.

Will the Lord Jesus Return in the Spiritual Body or in the Flesh When Taking His Believers?

By Shi Li

Nowadays, the last days have arrived. I believe that the brothers and sisters from different denominations are all paying close attention to the return of the Lord Jesus. The Lord once promised us: “I go to prepare a place for you. And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again, and receive you to myself; that where I am, there you may be also” (John 14:2-3). For this reason, we are all eagerly expecting that the Lord will come again to bring us into the kingdom of heaven. However, with regard to the means of the Lord’s return, each denomination has a different understanding of it. There are mainly two points of view. Some denominations believe that as the Lord left in a spiritual body, then when coming to rapture us, He will certainly appear to us in a spiritual body. But, others hold a different idea. They believe that the Lord will reveal Himself to us in the form of flesh when coming back. Anyway, in what form the Lord will return is related to whether each of us Christians can be raptured. Therefore, we must make it clear, so as not to be abandoned by the Lord.

Bible Verses About Sin Help You Find the Way to Be Free From Sin

After believing in the Lord, we were forgiven of sins, but it is undeniable that we still often go against the teachings of the Lord and follow the lusts of the flesh and commit sins, such as telling lies, deceiving, and cheating. It’s very difficult for us to escape the cycle of sinning and confessing. We never manage to shake off the shackles and restrictions of our sin. The Lord Jesus said, “Truly, truly, I say to you, Whoever commits sin is the servant of sin. And the servant stays not in the house for ever: but the Son stays ever” (John 8:34–35). From these words, we can see that those who often sin cannot enter the kingdom of God. So how can we break free from the bondage of sin, achieve purification, and enter the kingdom of heaven? Read the following Bible verses to learn the root causes of sinning and find the way to escape from sin.

Can Believing in the Bible Represent Believing in God? – “Break Through the Snare” (5)

Within religion, there are many people who believe that, although the pastors and elders hold the power in the world of religion and walk the path of the hypocritical Pharisees, although they accept and follow the pastors and elders, they believe in the Lord Jesus, not in the pastors and elders, so how can it be said that the path they walk is also that of the Pharisees? Can one really not be saved by believing in God within religion?

Can’t Gain the Holy Spirit’s Work in Prayer? First Do One Important Thing

By Zhicheng

Every brother and sister who comes before the Lord Jesus has felt the power of prayer. The Lord Jesus once promised us, “What things soever you desire, when you pray, believe that you receive them, and you shall have them” (Mark 11:24). Owing to the Lord’s promise to us, we received a lot of grace and blessings by praying before Him, such as the healing of sickness, the peace of our family, the frequent rejoicing in our heart, our being able to have love and patience toward others, and so on. No matter what persecution or tribulations came upon us, as long as we prayed to the Lord Jesus, we would then have faith and be willing to endure all hardships. And our church also gradually prospered. All of these things made us feel deeply that the power of prayer is so great! However, in recent years, I usually heard the brothers and sisters say, “Why is it that we pray to the Lord Jesus not effective?” In order to receive the grace and blessings of the Lord again, some believers even fast and pray but it is useless. This has made many of them become cold in faith and the church become desolate. Brothers and sisters pray at home but their prayer is ineffective, so they cannot maintain the Lord’s way and thus usually fall into sin, being unable to free themselves from it. Many believers are troubled by this: Why are we not able to enjoy the work of Holy Spirit or see God’s blessings when we pray to God? And how do we pray to achieve results?

Sermon on the Kingdom of God – 3 Standards You Should Know

When we read Paul’s words: “I have fought a good fight, I have finished my course, I have kept the faith: From now on there is laid up for me a crown of righteousness” (2 Timothy 4:7-8), we believed that we would be taken into the kingdom of God in the future if we worked hard and sacrificed everything for the Lord. But is that true?

The Lord said, “I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man comes to the Father, but by me” (John 14:6). From the words of the Lord, we can see that only through Christ can we enter the kingdom of God, and thus we should judge whether we can enter the kingdom of heaven based upon God’s words. And Paul’s idea that man can enter the kingdom of God through hard work, sacrifices and expenditures only stands for Paul’s personal opinion, not the will of God toward man.

3 Criteria for Entering the Kingdom of Heaven

A Discussion About the Lord Jesus’ Return

by An Ming

One day, it was drizzling. Some pedestrians held umbrellas and some walked in the rain leisurely.

Pastor Lee, Pastor Kim and Preacher Ju are famous pastors and preachers in Korea. In the afternoon, after finishing the matters of the church, they got together and had a chat. Then they talked about the topic of “Some people testify that the Lord Jesus has returned.” Pastor Kim said, “Pastor Lee, Preacher Ju, your church must have gotten the news too. Now some people testify the Lord Jesus has returned to flesh, and moreover, has expressed millions of words. It’s shocking. What do you think of it?” This topic arrested their attention. Pastor Lee said with cool disdain, “The Bible says, ‘Behold, he comes with clouds; and every eye shall see him, and they also which pierced him: and all kindreds of the earth shall wail because of him. Even so, Amen’ (Revelation 1:7). But we haven’t seen this. How could the Lord have returned?” In reality, Pastor Kim used to have the same viewpoint as Pastor Lee. However, when he studied the Bible, he found it is prophesied in the Bible that there is another way in which the Lord will return. For example, Revelation 16:15 says, “Behold, I come as a thief.” Here, “come as a thief” means coming in secret. But if the Lord Jesus comes again on a cloud and before the eyes of everyone, how will that fulfill “coming as a thief”? Thereupon he laid out his views, “The Bible prophesies two different ways, two possible ways that the Lord shall return. One way will be in secret, the other in public. Thus, these two prophecies don’t contradict at all.”
