Upon seeing the post, I thought of the Lord Jesus’ words, “But whoever drinks of the water that I shall give him shall never thirst; but the water that I shall give him shall be in him a well of water springing up into everlasting life” (John 4:14). So I got confused: “Since we have accepted the Lord Jesus as our Savior and had our sins absolved, haven’t we gained new lives and the way of eternal life given by God?
