Let us first read several verses and passages of God’s words!

For then shall be great tribulation, such as was not since the beginning of the world to this time, no, nor ever shall be. And except those days should be shortened, there should no flesh be saved: but for the elect’s sake those days shall be shortened” (Matthew 24:21–22).

You Know the Story of Nineveh, but Do You Know Why God Had a Change of Heart Toward the People of Nineveh?

It is recorded in the Bible that the Ninevites were evil and depraved to such an extent that God hated them and decided to destroy them with the disaster. However, the Ninevites were not destroyed in the end but rather they gained God’s mercy. What exactly did they do so that God turned His profound wrath to abundant mercy? Read the following God’s words to find out.

Does “Once Being Saved” Mean “Always Being Saved”?

Meditations on Being Saved

Every brother and sister who genuinely believes in the Lord thinks they have been saved through their belief in the Lord Jesus, because the Bible records, “For with the heart man believes to righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made to salvation” (Romans 10:10). So, many brothers and sisters in the Lord believe that “saved by faith” means they are saved forever. Then, does this view agree with God’s words and with the truth? Next, let’s fellowship about what exactly the real meaning of being saved is.

We all know, in the Age of Law, before God asked Moses to lead the Israelites out of Egypt, all Israelites were slaves to the Pharaoh of Egypt and suffered great torture, living a life without freedom, to the extent that their painful cries reached Jehovah God’s ears. Jehovah God didn’t have the heart to let them be mistreated by the Pharaoh. Thereupon He called Moses to lead them out of Egypt and to enter Canaan. As for the Israelites, when they were saved by God from the Pharaoh and broke free from the tyranny of the Pharaoh, they were saved. But it cannot be said that they no longer need the salvation of Jehovah God. Hence before they entered Canaan, Jehovah God issued the law through Moses, making them know how to fear Him, how to serve Him and know how to practice righteousness, how to gain His blessings, what the evil deeds were, and what behavior would be cursed by Him, as well as how to get along with others and how to live and so on. God’s work in the Age of Law put the life of the Israelites onto the right path gradually. Their life was not chaotic anymore. Especially with the law, the Israelites knew what sins were and how to offer sacrifices to God to be free of their own sins. As for the Israelites, they were saved again.

How to Seek the Work of the Holy Spirit?

Li Mei is a preacher of a household church. In the past over ten years, regardless of whether it was bitterly cold or extremely hot, rain or shine, she consistently worked hard and expended for the Lord without regret. She often studied the Bible and consulted all

sorts of spiritual books deep into the night in order to write a good sermon. But she was puzzled that in recent years, no matter how she had sacrificed and expended, the work of the Holy Spirit was not present, and the brothers and sisters became pessimistic in faith, living in negativity and weakness…. “Why is that?” She wondered.

This evening she planned to write a sermon. Yet when it was late at night, she still didn’t write anything on the paper. Having no choice, she had to kneel and pray to God, “O Lord! Where are You? Now I can’t sense Your presence. I have no idea where I have gone against Your intentions. May You not renounce me. Please don’t hide Your face from me. I’m willing to repent to You….”

Facing Disasters, We Should Welcome the Lord Soon Besides Praying

The rapid spread of the pandemic and the occurrences of disasters such as earthquakes and floods, have caused many people to lose their families. In the face of the great disasters, we are in pain and helpless and do not know what to do. We can only pray to God more intensely, hoping to get God’s protection. But did you know? If we want to be protected from disasters, apart from praying, we should welcome the Lord as soon as possible, so that we can have the opportunity to be protected by God.

Then, how should we find the footsteps of God to welcome the Lord?
In Revelation, it is prophesied, “He that has an ear, let him hear what the Spirit says to the churches” (Revelation 2:7).

Almighty God says, “Since we are searching for the footprints of God, it behooves us to search for God’s will, for the words of God, for His utterances—because wherever there are new words spoken by God, the voice of God is there, and wherever there are the footsteps of God, God’s deeds are there. Wherever there is the expression of God, there God appears, and wherever God appears, there the truth, the way, and the life exist. In seeking God’s footprints, you have ignored the words ‘God is the truth, the way, and the life.’ And so, many people, even when they receive the truth, do not believe that they have found God’s footprints, and still less do they acknowledge the appearance of God. What a grave mistake!”

Christian Experience: Am I Really Saved?

In Misery and Confusion, I Believed in the Lord Jesus

After my graduation, I found a job and worked for two years. During this period of time, my father and younger brother died, leaving my mother and me behind. During these two years, I spent my days in tears and couldn’t express the pain in my heart. In order to support my family, I came to the USA to work. At the beginning, I worked in a restaurant and my income was quite limited. In order to save money for rent, I lived in the basement of the restaurant. Over time, the damp basement environment started affecting me physically. As a result, I developed edema throughout my body and often felt very tired. In fact, my heart was even more tired. For I didn’t have my father to rely on, much less did I want my mother to worry about me—all I could do was silently endure the misery and loneliness by myself. At that time, I started having doubts about the meaning of life, thinking, “I work like a robot every day, just for food and clothing. What else do I live for?”

If You Bitterly Long for the Lord to Come Upon a Cloud but Haven’t Welcomed Him Yet

2000 years ago, Revelation predicted, “I come quickly” (Revelation 22:7). Almost all the believers in the Lord have been waiting for the Lord to descend riding upon a cloud in the last days and take us to the kingdom of heaven. But did you know? The Lord has already descended upon a “white cloud” and has spoken and worked for over 30 years. Are you astonished to hear this news? “Has the Lord come upon a cloud? Why didn’t I see Him?” It is mainly because you only know the Lord would come upon a cloud, but the true meaning of “white cloud” is unknown to you. Today, we are going to help you comprehend the real meaning of “white cloud” through God’s words so as to greet the Lord Jesus’ return.

Disasters Are Becoming More Severe, so It’s Urgent to Welcome the Lord’s Return

In order to survive, perhaps you are still busy with work or study, but now disasters are unfolding on a larger and larger scale and the prophecies of the Lord’s return have been basically fulfilled. For us, there is one thing that is more important than work and study, that is, welcoming the Lord as soon as possible. Then how can we welcome the Lord? The Lord Jesus said, “And at midnight there was a cry made, Behold, the bridegroom comes; go you out to meet him” (Matthew 25:6). Revelation prophesies, “Behold, I stand at the door, and knock: if any man hear My voice, and open the door, I will come in to him, and will sup with him, and he with Me” (Revelation 3:20). It can be seen that when the Lord returns in the last days, He will speak and knock at our doors. Only when we hear the voice of God and welcome Him can we have the opportunity to be protected by God in the disasters. So, when we hear someone testify that the Lord has returned, and has expressed words to do new work, we should quickly seek and investigate, and seize this once-in-a-lifetime opportunity. If we miss the opportunity to receive the Lord and can’t receive God’s salvation in the last days, then when God’s work is completed and the great disasters arrive, the door of grace will be closed, and we’ll completely lose the opportunity to enter the kingdom of heaven, and it will be too late for regret.

The Mystery of the Judgment in the Bible Is Revealed

Many brothers and sisters think that in the last days, the Lord will set up a big white table in the sky and sit on the throne to judge people one by one to determine whether they will go to heaven or hell. But did you know? The Bible prophesied that the Lord would become flesh to do the work of judgment on earth in the last days. For example, “With my soul have I desired You in the night; yes, with my spirit within me will I seek You early: for when Your judgments are in the earth, the inhabitants of the world will learn righteousness” (Isaiah 26:9). The Lord Jesus said, “For the Father judges no man, but has committed all judgment to the Son” (John 5:22). Speaking of the “Son of man,” we know that the Lord Jesus is called the Son of man. He is the incarnate God, who looks normal and ordinary on the outside but has the divine essence. He could express the truth and do the work of God Himself. Therefore, the “Son of man” mentioned in the prophecy refers to God’s incarnation. It can be seen that the Lord would become flesh to carry out His judgment on earth in the last days.

Why does God do a new work in each age? And for what is a new age brought about?

The answer from God’s word:

“My entire management plan, which spans six thousand years, consists of three phases, or three ages: first, the Age of Law; second, the Age of Grace (which is also the Age of Redemption); and finally, the Age of Kingdom. My work in these three ages differs according to the nature of each age, but at each stage it accords with man’s needs—or rather, it varies according to the tricks that Satan employs in My war against it. The purpose of My work is to defeat Satan, to make manifest My wisdom and omnipotence, to expose all Satan’s tricks and thereby to save all of humanity, which lives under its domain. It is to show My wisdom and omnipotence while at the same time revealing the hideousness of Satan. Moreover, it is to teach My creations to discriminate between good and evil, to recognize that I am the Ruler of all things, to see clearly that Satan is humanity’s foe, the lowest of the low, the evil one, and to make the difference between good and evil, truth and falsehood, holiness and filth, greatness and baseness, as clear as day. This way, ignorant humanity may bear witness to Me that it is not I who corrupt humanity, and only I—the Creator—can save humanity, can bestow upon them things for enjoyment; and they may come to know that I am the Ruler of all things and Satan is merely one of My creations, which later turned against Me. My six-thousand-year management plan is divided into three stages in order to achieve the following effect: to allow My creations to be My witnesses, to know My will, to see that I am the truth.”
