Him that overcomes will I make a pillar in the temple of My God, and he shall go no more out: and I will write on him the name of My God, and the name of the city of My God, which is new Jerusalem, which comes down out of heaven from My God: and I will write on him My new name.
–Revelation 3:12

The Lord Jesus said, “Therefore I say to you, What things soever you desire, when you pray, believe that you receive them, and you shall have them.”

Now, the pandemic has still been spreading, and disasters such as earthquakes, hurricanes, floods, and fires have constantly occurred in many countries. The entire world is suffering from disasters. It can be seen that the prophecies of the Lord’s return have come true. Just as the Lord Jesus said, “For nation shall rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom: and there shall be famines, and pestilences, and earthquakes, in divers places. All these are the beginning of sorrows” (Matthew 24:7-8). Many people are now testifying online that the Lord Jesus has already returned. Then what should we do to find God’s footsteps and welcome the Lord? Actually, the Lord had already told us the path.
The Lord Jesus said, “My sheep hear My voice, and I know them, and they follow Me’” (John 10:27). Revelation prophesies, “Behold, I stand at the door, and knock: if any man hear My voice, and open the door, I will come in to him, and will sup with him, and he with Me” (Revelation 3:20).
God says, “[S]ince we are searching for the footprints of God, it behooves us to search for God’s will, for the words of God, for His utterances—because wherever there are new words spoken by God, the voice of God is there, and wherever there are the footsteps of God, God’s deeds are there. Wherever there is the expression of God, there God appears, and wherever God appears, there the truth, the way, and the life exist. In seeking God’s footprints, you have ignored the words ‘God is the truth, the way, and the life.’ And so, many people, even when they receive the truth, do not believe that they have found God’s footprints, and still less do they acknowledge the appearance of God. What a grave mistake!”
We can see from this that when the Lord returns, He will utter words to knock on the door of our hearts and to seek His sheep. The sheep of God are capable of focusing on listening to the voice of God and recognizing the voice of God to welcome the Lord.

What Does “no one knows the day or the hour” in Matthew 24:36 Mean?

God become flesh is called Christ, and so the Christ that can give people the truth is called God. There is nothing excessive about this, for He possesses the substance of God, and possesses God’s disposition, and wisdom in His work, that are unattainable by man. Those who call themselves Christ, yet cannot do the work of God, are frauds. Christ is not merely the manifestation of God on earth, but instead, the particular flesh assumed by God as He carries out and completes His work among man. This flesh is not one that can be replaced by just any man, but one that can adequately bear God’s work on earth, and express the disposition of God, and well represent God, and provide man with life. Sooner or later, those fake Christs will all fall, for although they claim to be Christ, they possess none of the substance of Christ. And so I say that the authenticity of Christ cannot be defined by man, but is answered and decided by God Himself.

In their prayers before they were simply going through the motions and playing around, and no one has ever fully given their heart before God and truly prayed to God. People only pray to God when something happens to them. Throughout all this time, have you ever truly prayed to God? Have you ever wept tears of pain before God? Have you ever come to know yourself before God? Have you ever had a heart-to-heart prayer with God? Praying is practiced gradually: If you don’t ordinarily pray at home, then you will have no way of praying in church, and if you don’t normally pray during small assemblies, then you will be incapable of praying during large assemblies. If you do not ordinarily draw near to God or reflect upon the words of God, then you will have nothing to say when it is time to pray—and even if you do pray, your lips will just be moving, you won’t be truly praying.

Nowadays, earthquakes, fires, floods, plagues of insects, epidemics and other disasters are growing ever greater, and just in recent weeksthe novel coronavirus has spread throughout the world. Faced with these disasters, many believers think that, having accepted the Lord Jesus’ salvation of the cross, as long as they acknowledge the Lord with their mouths and believe in Him in their hearts then they are saved. They believe that as long as they pray and read the Bible lots and have faith in the Lord, then the Lord will protect them from the disasters, and they will immediately be raised up into the kingdom of heaven when He returns, for as the Bible says: “For with the heart man believes to righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made to salvation” (Romans 10:10). But is this belief really correct? Does it accord with the Lord’s will? Let’s explore this together.

For God so loved the world, that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish, but have everlasting life.

One day, I turned on my computer and opened a web page casually. An exquisite egg caught my eye, beneath which there were some lilies and a rabbit made of chocolate. It turned out that Easter was coming soon. As is recorded in the Bible, the origin of Easter is as follows: Jesus Christ, after the betrayal of one of His disciples, was taken to the court and then nailed to the cross on Friday for redeeming the world by the willing sacrifice of Himself. According to the Jewish law, Saturday was the Sabbath when all activities must cease. So the followers of Christ could only hastily place His body in a grave by the sunset of Friday, and then hurried off. On Sunday morning, people went back to the grave, only to find the body of Jesus disappeared, and then they were told that Jesus Christ had been resurrected. Since then, the Christians have called the Sunday in memory of Jesus Christ’s resurrection Easter. This is the origin of Easter.
