I believe that all followers of God want to attain salvation and enter into God’s kingdom so that they may enjoy the blessings of the heavenly kingdom. But how can we actually do that? There are probably quite a few brothers and sisters who would respond, “The Lord Jesus Himself redeemed us on the cross, absolving us of all of our sins, so in His eyes we are no longer sinners. As long as we follow the Lord Jesus, keep reading the Bible, praying, going to church, and diligently doing the Lord’s work, when He returns we’ll be completely saved and we’ll enter God’s kingdom.”
Now we are already in the final phase of the last days. Disasters are getting worse and worse in various places, and the prophecies of the Lord’s return have been basically fulfilled. Many people sense that the Lord is likely to have already returned. Then in what way will the Lord appear to us upon His return? Some people take this biblical verse into consideration: “hich also said, You men of Galilee, why stand you gazing up into heaven? this same Jesus, which is taken up from you into heaven, shall so come in like manner as you have seen him go into heaven.” (Acts 1:11). They think: The Lord Jesus ascended to heaven in a spiritual body after His resurrection, so He should descend upon the clouds in a spiritual body as well when He returns. However, by searching the scriptures, we can easily find that besides the prophecies in the Bible concerning the Lord openly descending on a cloud, there are other prophecies which tell of the Lord coming in the flesh secretly. For instance, “ Behold, I come as a thief. Blessed is he that watches, and keeps his garments, lest he walk naked, and they see his shame.” (Revelation 16:15). “And at midnight there was a cry made, Behold, the bridegroom comes; go you out to meet him.” (Matthew 25:6). “ Be you therefore ready also: for the Son of man comes at an hour when you think not.” (Luke 12:40). We can see from the scriptures that “as a thief” refers to the Lord returning quietly and secretly. This phrase “the Son of man” refers to one who is born of man and a flesh possessed of normal humanity. Just like the Lord Jesus, He was called the Son of man and Christ. Therefore, “the coming of the Son of man” in these prophecies means that in the last days the Lord will have become flesh and come before people are aware of it. From this, we can see that the Lord will not only return in the manner of publicly descending upon clouds, but also in the manner of coming secretly as the incarnate Son of man. I’m a preacher in a church, but I have nothing worthy of preaching and am unable to provide the brothers and sisters with anything useful. Their faith has generally become weak and insipid, and during congregations they either doze off or chat in low voices. Seeing this scene being regularly played out in the church always makes me very upset. I’ve prayed to the Lord many times, and on many occasions have reminded the brothers and sisters to be alert and watchful, but because they haven’t been able to welcome the Lord’s return they have lost their faith. No matter what I do, it isn’t enough to bring the church back to life. And now it’s the last days and even the unbelievers know that great catastrophes are about to occur, so it stands to reason that the Lord should return. But why haven’t we been able to greet Him? Will we really be able to welcome the Lord’s return just by watching the clouds and sky? My heart has really been a mess until recently!
Take the chance when you have time, sit in silence before God. Read His word, know His truths, right the transgressions in you. Trials come, take them on; know God’s will and you’ll have strength. Tell Him what things you lack, share His truth always. Elated is your soul when you worship Him. Come often before God, resist no more. Your care of flesh, it hurts Him so. Read His word, understand His truth. Come often before God. Come often before God. So live as sanctified man! No matter what test or judgment comes, we will work to appease Him. Come often before God. Come often before God and live His truth.
Kim Yeongrok was a devout pastor in the Korean religious community. Thirsting for the truth, he eagerly anticipated the second coming of the Lord Jesus. One day in 2013, he came across the words of Almighty God in Chosun Ilbo. These words, full of authority and power, had an immediate effect on him, and touched him deeply. In order to make sure that Almighty God was the Lord Jesus returned, the Savior he had awaited for so long, he began to seek out and investigate the work and words of Almighty God. … As he resolved each doubt in his heart one after the other, Kim Yeongrok was so ecstatic he began to prostrate himself: Almighty God is the second coming of the Lord Jesus in the last days. He has quietly arrived among us and has been doing the work of judgment beginning with the house of God for a long time!
It is said in 1 Thessalonians 4:17, “Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord.” Therefore, when it comes to the rapture, many people hope to be raptured into the air to meet with the Lord upon His return. But is this really the case? Now disasters occur frequently around the world. Many believers in the Lord have realized that the Lord has come again. However, why haven’t we been raptured into the air to meet with the Lord? What exactly is the true rapture? These Bible verses about rapture and related content will help you understand what the true rapture is and how to be raptured into the heavenly kingdom.
The Days of Noah Have Emerged: What Does This Presage?
When we talk about mankind in the time of Noah, everyone knows that murder and arson, robbing and stealing, and promiscuity had become second nature to the people of that time. They shunned God and did not heed God’s words, and in the end God destroyed them with a great flood. Then we look at the people of today’s world: They revere evil, and one can see such places as karaoke bars, foot massage parlors, taverns and dance clubs on streets and alleys in every city; people eat, drink and make merry, indulging in the pleasures of the flesh; most people vie with each other for fame, gain, and status, fighting each other, scheming against each other, and cheating one another, friends and relatives being no exception. People are all sick of the truth, they are in love with injustice, and live in sin; no one takes the initiative to seek the truth or seek the true way, and they even openly deny and resist God. All of mankind lives under the domain of Satan, and even those who believe in the Lord debase themselves to follow worldly trends. They covet sinful pleasures, always living in a cycle of sinning and then confessing, and they do not put the Lord’s teachings into practice though they know them well. Such scenes cannot help but bring to mind the prophecy made by the Lord Jesus two thousand years ago: “And as it was in the days of Noah, so shall it be also in the days of the Son of man. They did eat, they drank, they married wives, they were given in marriage, until the day that Noah entered into the ark, and the flood came, and destroyed them all. … Even thus shall it be in the day when the Son of man is revealed” (Luke 17:26–30). We can see from this prophecy that when the people of the last days become as corrupt and wicked as the people of the time of Noah, the Lord will come again. But in what way will the Lord appear? And how should we greet Him?
The Lord Jesus said, “My sheep hear my voice, and I know them, and they follow me” (John 10:27).
When the Lord appeared and did the work, the Samaritan woman in the beginning just called the Lord Sir when she saw His ordinary appearance; only after the Lord Jesus spoke out her innermost secrets during their conversation did she recognize the Lord Jesus as the promised Messiah from the Lord’s words.
Philip said to Nathanael: “We have found him, of whom Moses in the law, and the prophets, did write, Jesus of Nazareth, the son of Joseph.” Nathanael didn’t believe it and said: “Can there any good thing come out of Nazareth?” But when he personally met with the Lord Jesus, the Lord said to him: “Before that Philip called you, when you were under the fig tree, I saw you.” Nathanael recognized the Lord as the Son of God from the Lord’s words.
