How to Achieve True Repentance

The second wave of the pandemic has broken out, and famines are at hand. Many people foretell that the day of the Lord’s coming has arrived, and God’s kingdom is approaching. The Lord Jesus said, “From that time Jesus began to preach, and to say, Repent: for the kingdom of heaven is at hand.” (Matthew 4:17). This is the Lord’s requirement for each of us. Only when we have true repentance can we be protected by God and have the opportunity to be taken up into the heavenly kingdom. Then how can we achieve true repentance?

The Lord Jesus prophesied, “He that rejects me, and receives not my words, has one that judges him: the word that I have spoken, the same shall judge him in the last day” (John 12:48).

By Wu Meng

mysteries of the bible, the coming of christ,i stand at the door and knock

One summer evening, the weather being very sultry, people enjoying the cool occupied the benches of the park by ones and twos. Lisa strolled in the park alone, now raising her head and looking up at the sky, now bowing her head to think, with a face full of worry.

Suddenly, finding three people standing in front of her, Lisa stopped. With her head raised slowly, she saw clearly that it was Leader Mu, Brother Zheng, and Sister Yuan of the church who were greeting her. Lisa immediately got a little flurried and her heart started thumping, because last time she promised Leader Mu to attend the co-worker training meeting but actually was too busy with her work to show up. Besides, she had been absent from their co-worker meetings recently owing to being occupied by other affairs. She was surprised to meet them there tonight.

4 Principles for Wise Virgins to Recognize God’s Voice

Dear Sister Muzhen,

Peace to you in the Lord! I’m very glad to receive your letter. In the letter, you mentioned that the Lord’s coming is near, so in order to be a wise virgin waiting for and welcoming the Lord’s return, you intentionally read the Bible and pray more, and work more for the Lord. But it doesn’t make you feel keen in spirit, or make your faith and love increase. You wonder whether you are a wise virgin by pursuing like this and are eager to know how to practice to welcome the coming of the Lord. Sister Muzhen, your question is very important for us Christians, because each and every one of us wants to be a wise virgin to welcome the Lord’s return, and finally attend the feast of the kingdom of heaven together with Him. None of us want to be a foolish virgin forsaken by the Lord. But, how should one practice to be a wise virgin? Regarding this issue, I’ll talk about my understanding. I hope it can be beneficial to you!

The Critical Point to Attend the Marriage Feast of the Lamb

By Ningchen

One morning I was reading the Bible with my cousin, “Let us be glad and rejoice, and give honor to him: for the marriage of the Lamb is come, and his wife has made herself ready. And to her was granted that she should be arrayed in fine linen, clean and white: for the fine linen is the righteousness of saints. And he said to me, Write, Blessed are they which are called to the marriage supper of the Lamb. And he said to me, These are the true sayings of God” (Revelation 19:7-9).

After finishing reading, I said happily to my cousin, “We all know that this is the vision that John saw about the Lord’s return in the last days. Now it’s already the period of the last days, the time when the Lord will come again. As Christians, we all long to attend the wedding feast of the Lamb, enter into the kingdom of heaven and live together with God. To this end, we must soberly ready ourselves, attending more meetings, praying both in the morning and at night every day, working and preaching more for the Lord, and bearing more fruit. That way, we will be able to attend the wedding feast of the Lamb when the Lord returns. What do you say?”

What Is the True Meaning of Rapture?

For every Christian who is waiting devoutly for the return of the Lord, the topic of the believers’ rapture when the Lord returns in the last days is always attractive. None of believers are not expecting to be raptured into the kingdom of heaven when the Lord comes back. However, what on earth is the true meaning of rapture? Does it really mean that the believers are lifted into the air by the Lord in the last days? To understand this aspect of the truth, let’s first read several verses. Acts 8:39-40 says, “And when they were come up out of the water, the Spirit of the Lord caught away Philip, that the eunuch saw him no more: and he went on his way rejoicing. But Philip was found at Azotus: and passing through he preached in all the cities, till he came to Caesarea.” According to man’s thought, since here it is said that Philip was caught away by the Spirit of the Lord, he was taken to heaven. Yet, in fact, “Philip was found at Azotus” and he preached the gospel in all cities, doing the Lord’s will on earth. From this we can see that Philip was not taken into heaven but was still on the earth.
