From What Signs Can We Tell The Lord Jesus Has Already Come?

By Lin Hua

In the church, Pastor Zhu who wore a suit and leather shoes was standing at the pulpit, with a Bible in his hand. He preached: “Brothers and sisters, the prophecies of the Lord’s return in the Revelation have basically been fulfilled. We shall be watching and waiting. Now is the time that the Lord comes again, so we must keep our meetings no matter how weak we are.”

By Grasping 3 Points, You Will Become Closer to God

By Qingxin

The Bible says, “Draw near to God, and He will draw near to you” (James 4:8). As believers in God, we all know that building a normal relationship with God in order to get closer to God and receive more of the Holy Spirit’s work is crucial. In the fast-paced modern life, however, busy jobs, complicated relationships and evil social trends draw us in and occupy our hearts more and more, and they prevent us from quieting ourselves before God. This causes our relationship with God to become ever more distant and causes us to often feel empty and agitated in the depths of our souls. So how exactly can we establish a proper relationship with God and become closer to God? This is a very important issue put in front of each believer. Actually, we need only to grasp the three aspects below, and our relationship with God will grow closer.

Hebrews 12:14 – Believers in God Should Pursue Holiness

Follow peace with all men, and holiness, without which no man shall see the Lord.

– Hebrews 12:14

Thoughts on Today’s Verse

We should pursue purification in believing in God. Only in this way can we enter God’s kingdom. His kingdom is holy and He absolutely forbids any filthy and corrupt people to enter it. But many brothers and sisters believe that after we confess and repent before the Lord, He has forgiven all our sins and we have become holy, then we will be raptured into the heavenly kingdom when the Lord arrives. However, have we already broken away from sin and become holy? Although Jesus has forgiven our sins through His work of redemption, our corrupt satanic disposition such as arrogance, selfishness, deceitfulness is very deeply rooted in us. These are the roots of our sins. If our corrupt satanic disposition is not resolved, we cannot stop ourselves from committing sins, resisting God and betraying Him. Therefore, we all live in the vicious cycle of committing and then confessing our sin. And there’s no way to free ourselves from the bondage and control of sin. We cannot get rid of our sinful nature by ourselves, and nobody can do the work of saving mankind. So, the Lord Jesus predicted, “I have yet many things to say to you, but you cannot bear them now. However, when he, the Spirit of truth, is come, he will guide you into all truth: for he shall not speak of himself; but whatever he shall hear, that shall he speak: and he will show you things to come” (Jhn 16:12-13). Obviously, we cannot achieve holiness if we only accept Jesus’ work of redemption. We still need Jesus’ return in the last days to express the truth to do the work of cleansing. In this way, we can break free from the bound of sinful nature, achieve purification, be gained by God and receive His promise

How Do the Wise Virgins Hear the Voice of God and Welcome the Lord?

Bible Verses for Reference:

“I have yet many things to say to you, but you cannot bear them now. However, when he, the Spirit of truth, is come, he will guide you into all truth: for he shall not speak of himself; but whatever he shall hear, that shall he speak: and he will show you things to come” (Jhn 16:12-13).

“Blessed are the poor in spirit: for theirs is the kingdom of heaven” (Mat 5:3).

“Blessed are they which do hunger and thirst after righteousness: for they shall be filled” (Mat 5:6).

“Blessed are the pure in heart: for they shall see God” (Mat 5:8).

Following the Footsteps of the Lamb Is the Key for You to Greet the Lord

The Book of Revelation says, “ These are they which follow the Lamb wherever he goes. ” (Revelation 14:4).

Almighty God says, “Since man believes in God, he must closely follow the footsteps of God, step-by-step; he should ‘follow the Lamb wherever He goes.’ Only these are the people who seek the true way, only they are the ones who know the work of the Holy Spirit. People who slavishly follow letters and doctrines are those who have been eliminated by the work of the Holy Spirit. In each period of time, God will begin new work, and in each period, there will be a new beginning among man. If man only abides by the truths that ‘Jehovah is God’ and ‘Jesus is Christ,’ which are truths that only apply to their respective ages, then man will never keep up with the work of the Holy Spirit, and will forever be incapable of gaining the work of the Holy Spirit. Regardless of how God works, man follows without the slightest doubt, and he follows closely. In this way, how could man be eliminated by the Holy Spirit? Regardless of what God does, as long as man is certain that it is the work of the Holy Spirit, and cooperates in the work of the Holy Spirit without any misgivings, and tries to meet the requirements of God, then how could he be punished?

I Met the Lord’s Return

By Shunyi, Japan

One morning, when walking in the alley of a park, I saw the cherry trees beside me were wreathed. The fragrance assailed my nose, and made me feel fresh. At that point, I came to realize the spring had already come. With people being eagerly anticipation, the spring came and brought us gladness and hope. Similarly, aren’t we who believe in the Lord hoping for the return of the Lord Jesus night and day? But we have no idea at all that He has already come into the world and secretly worked for many years, bringing people a new age and bestowing upon people higher truth and life. When thinking of this, I couldn’t help being grateful to God inside, because when the flowers blossomed in spring last year, I was reunited with the Lord, welcoming the “spring” of my life of faith …

What Is Truly Doing the Will of God?

Dear Brothers and Sisters,

Recently, there’s something I’m not clear on. I have communicated about it with many brothers and sisters, but finally, I didn’t get a positive result. Just when I didn’t know what to do next, a sister recommended your website. She said that while she was surfing online, she saw that your fellowship and answers were very enlightening and contained an insightful view about the Bible in reply to questions from brothers and sisters, and that her questions were also resolved through your website. So, I hope that my questions will also be resolved here.

How to Pray: Praying in Spirit and Truth to Obtain God’s Answer

Brothers and sisters, peace to you in the Lord. Today let’s fellowship about the truth regarding prayer. As is known to all believers in the Lord, prayer is indispensable to us followers. If a Christian does not pray, he does not deserve to be called a Christian. Through prayer we have faith to practice the Lord’s teachings; through prayer we are enlightened and guided by Him; through prayer our work and dedication can be after His heart; through prayer we can come out of weakness time and again; through prayer we can have enough strength to take up the cross and drink from the bitter cup…. Obviously, the entire life of a Christian cannot be separated from prayer. However, many believers say, “Why can’t my prayers obtain the Lord’s answer? Why does He not hear my prayers? Why can’t I feel His presence in my prayers?” If you have the same confusion, then it is likely that something is wrong with your prayers.
