Moreover, not only is it the body of God’s second incarnation, it is also the body through which God returns to the flesh. It is a very ordinary flesh. You cannot see anything that makes Him stand out from others, but you can gain from Him previously unheard-of truths. This insignificant flesh is what embodies all the words of truth from God, undertakes God’s work in the last days, and expresses the whole of God’s disposition for man to understand. Do you not desire greatly to see the God in heaven? Do you not desire greatly to understand the God in heaven? Do you not desire greatly to see the destination of mankind? He will tell you all these secrets—secrets that no man has been able to tell you, and He will also tell you of the truths that you do not understand. He is your gate into the kingdom, and your guide into the new age.”

Who Will the Lord Jesus First Give Revelations to When He Arrives?

Brother Wang has believed in the Lord for over twenty years, during which he has always suffered, labored, and sacrificed for the Lord. He was once arrested and sentenced to eight years in prison by the Chinese Communist government because of preaching the Lord’s gospel, yet he has never made complaints about this. He believes he is the one who is most loyal to the Lord, and that the Lord will certainly tell him of His return first.

One day, his wife Sister Wu told him, “There are some people who are preaching that the Lord Jesus has returned. Now the disasters are becoming more and more intense, and the prophecies of the Lord’s arrival have basically come true. Maybe we should go to seek together.” Brother Wang smiled disapprovingly and shook his hands, saying, “No need to seek. I have believed in the Lord for over half my life. I’ve always worked hard and have been on constant lookout for His second coming. If the Lord had really returned, how could I not know? When the Lord comes back, He will first reveal it to me.”

Great News—the Lord Has Returned!

When I was small, I followed my aunt in her belief in the Lord and we would often attend Sunday worship. Toward the end of 2017, I found I had no time to attend gatherings at church because I was so busy at work, and so I began attending Bible study classes online. I met Sister Xu in my Bible study group and saw that she was quite compassionate. No matter what questions I had, she would always patiently fellowship with me so that my problems could be resolved. Later, Sister Xu testified to me that the Lord had returned in the last days and was performing a new stage of work, that of using His words to judge and purify our sins, and that He will lead those who have been purified into His kingdom. She also read many of Almighty God’s words to me and gave me fellowship on such truths as God’s three stages of work, the mystery of God’s six-thousand-year management plan and the mystery of God’s name. I’d never before heard about these things and I felt this way to be fresh and new, and I wanted to continue looking into the way she was preaching.

One afternoon two weeks later, however, I saw in my Christian group on Facebook a post condemning The Church of Almighty God, and I thought to myself, “How can you condemn The Church of Almighty God like that?” I’d had contact with the brothers and sisters from The Church of Almighty God and the words of Almighty God they’d read were very authoritative, and were words I’d never heard before. Furthermore, they were so good to other people, so sincere and loving. But when I saw online that the people from The Church of Almighty God read the book, The Word Appears in the Flesh, and not the Bible, I began to have misgivings. Because my pastor always preached that, “If one believes in the Lord then one has to read the Bible, and to depart from the Bible is heresy,” I felt very worried, and I didn’t know whether I wanted to keep looking into it. But then I thought of how the words of Almighty God my brothers and sisters had read to me during our gatherings were possessed of such authority and how Almighty God had unveiled so many mysteries. When I heard these things, my spirit felt such enjoyment and I believed that Almighty God’s words came from God. If Almighty God was the Lord returned and I didn’t follow Him, then I would be weeded out and abandoned by God. My heart was in a turmoil of conflict….

Through the many ways in which God speaks His words,
man sees God’s supremacy, magnitude,
sees God’s humility and hiddenness,
that the supreme God can become the least of all.
God uses words, not signs and wonders
to perfect man in the last days.
Words expose, they judge and chastise,
and make man perfect in every way.
In the words of God, man comes to see
God’s loveliness and His wisdom,
man understands God’s disposition.
Through God’s words,he sees the deeds of God.

Listen to the Words of the Returned Lord, and You Will Be Sure That the Lord Has Returned

Now more and more people are testifying the Lord has returned and expressed new words and that He is doing the work of purifying and saving man. Hearing this news, some people are confused, “The Lord has really returned? Then how can we confirm these words to be the voice of God and successfully welcome the Lord’s return?” Understanding this issue is directly related to whether we can welcome the Lord.
The Lord Jesus said, “My sheep hear My voice, and I know them, and they follow Me” (John 10:27).

The Lord’s words tell us that as soon as hearing the words of God, God’s sheep can confirm them to be the voice of God from their hearts and thereby welcome the Lord. Let’s read a passage to see whether this is the voice of God.

I believe that like me, all the brothers and sisters in the Lord have received lots of peace and blessings from the Lord, and that we all have ever been resolved to follow the Lord all our life. I remember, at that time I was fervent within. In order to repay the Lord’s great love, I actively spread the gospel for Him and supported the church, and I had confidence about holding on to His way. Moreover, I constantly contemplated His grace, and I was frequently moved to tears when I prayed, feeling so close to the Lord. I prided myself on being a follower of the Lord.

When witnessing frequent disasters in the last days, are you anxiously waiting for the Lord to come soon, rapture you into the kingdom of heaven and save you from the suffering? Then did you know the condition for entering the heavenly kingdom? Perhaps you will say that as long as we have good behavior such as reading the Bible more, helping the poor, and staying away from bad things, we are able to enter the kingdom of heaven. But did you know? The Lord Jesus never said that those who have good behavior could enter the kingdom of heaven. Instead, He said, “Whoever commits sin is the servant of sin. And the servant stays not in the house for ever: but the son stays ever.” (John 8:34–35)And 1 Peter 1:16 says, “Be you holy; for I am holy.”
