The Lord Jesus said that He would come again. In which way will He come again?

The answer from God’s word:

“For several thousand years, man has longed to be able to witness the arrival of the Savior. Man has longed to behold Jesus the Savior on a white cloud as He descends, in person, among those who have pined and yearned for Him for thousands of years. Man has longed for the Savior to return and be reunited with the people, that is, for Jesus the Savior to come back to the people from whom He has been apart for thousands of years. And man hopes that He will once again carry out the work of redemption that He did among the Jews, will be compassionate and loving toward man, will forgive the sins of man, bear the sins of man, and even bear all of man’s transgressions and deliver man from sin. They long for Jesus the Savior to be the same as before—a Savior who is lovable, amiable and venerable, who is never wrathful toward man, and who never reproaches man. This Savior forgives and bears all of man’s sins, and even dies upon the cross for man once more. Since Jesus departed, the disciples who followed Him, and all of the saints who were saved thanks to His name, have been desperately pining for Him and awaiting Him. All those who were saved by the grace of Jesus Christ during the Age of Grace have been longing for that joyful day during the last days, when Jesus the Savior arrives on a white cloud and appears among man. Of course, this is also the collective wish of all those who accept the name of Jesus the Savior today. Throughout the universe, all those who know of the salvation of Jesus the Savior have been desperately yearning for the sudden arrival of Jesus Christ, to fulfill the words of Jesus when on earth: ‘I shall arrive just as I departed.’ Man believes that, following the crucifixion and resurrection, Jesus went back to heaven upon a white cloud, and took His place at the Most High’s right hand. Similarly, man conceives that Jesus shall descend, again upon a white cloud (this cloud refers to the cloud that Jesus rode upon when He returned to heaven), among those who have desperately yearned for Him for thousands of years, and that He shall bear the image and clothes of the Jews. After appearing to man, He shall bestow food upon them, and cause living water to gush forth for them, and shall live among man, full of grace and love, living and real. And so on. Yet Jesus the Savior did not do this; He did the opposite of what man conceived. He did not arrive among those who had yearned for His return, and did not appear to all men while riding upon the white cloud. He has already arrived, but man does not know Him, and remains ignorant of His arrival. Man is only aimlessly awaiting Him, unaware that He has already descended upon a white cloud (the cloud which is His Spirit, His words, and His entire disposition and all that He is), and is now among a group of overcomers that He will make during the last days. Man does not know this: Although the holy Savior Jesus is full of affection and love toward man, how could He work in ‘temples’ inhabited by filth and impure spirits? Though man has been awaiting His arrival, how could He appear to those who eat the flesh of the unrighteous, drink the blood of the unrighteous, wear the clothes of the unrighteous, who believe in Him but do not know Him, and who constantly extort Him? Man knows only that Jesus the Savior is full of love and compassion, and is the sin offering filled with redemption. But man has no idea that He is also God Himself, who is brimming with righteousness, majesty, wrath, and judgment, and possessed of authority and full of dignity. And so even though man eagerly yearns for and craves the return of the Redeemer, and even Heaven is moved by the prayers of man, Jesus the Savior does not appear to those who believe in Him but do not know Him.”

Don’t Ask God for Things but Obey Him

By Amelie, France

Recently, I read an article about prayer on the internet, which caused me to recollect my former attitude toward prayer. When I was 9, I turned to the Lord, for I saw the manifestation of the Lord’s power in my mother. Having suffered many diseases for many years, thanks to the Lord, my mother got up from the sickbed. From then on, she has a good health, and is even capable of working for 10 hours every day, which can be witnessed by all those who know my mother.

When I was learning the Bible, I saw the Lord’s words: “Come to me, all you that labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest” (Matthew 11:28). In addition, the preachers often said, “The Lord came not to enjoy man’s service, but to serve man,” “Everything we pray for to the Lord will be heard.” I was influenced unconsciously. I was further convinced that the Lord Jesus was a God who would bestow upon all of us believers grace and blessings, a God who would resolve all of our difficulties, and a God who would heal us of all of our diseases, and that He would answer all our prayers. Just as David said, “Yes, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil: for you are with me; your rod and your staff they comfort me” (Psalms 23:4). So, before I went to bed, went out, attended an examination, began school…, I always prayed to the Lord and asked Him to protect me, and bestow upon me grace and blessings. The Lord Jesus became the Lord of my family, and moreover, He became my crutch, my doctor, and my teacher …

“There Is No True Service Without True Prayer” | Christian Devotional Song

I
Prayer is not ceremonial, has lots of meaning.
It can be seen from people’s prayers
God they’re directly serving.
If you take prayer as ceremonial,
then God you won’t serve well.
Without prayer, you can’t work.
Prayer brings service, it brings work.
If you’re a person who serves God,
but you’ve never been serious,
not devoted when you pray,
you will fail in serving this way.

In This Time of Disasters, Welcoming the Lord’s Return Cannot Be Delayed Don’t Miss the Chance to Welcome the Lord’s Return

Now is the end of the last days, and various disasters have already come one after another, and the prophecies of the Lord’s return have been fulfilled. Are you more eager to welcome the Lord? Are you worried that you will fall into disasters if you fail to meet the Lord? Don’t worry. God uses disasters to warn us to come before Him and hopes we can seize the opportunity to seek and accept His salvation.

Just like in the time of Noah, before God used the flood to destroy the corrupted mankind at that time, He had Noah preach the gospel for 120 years, giving people the opportunity to come before Him to receive His salvation and protection. However, people didn’t believe that there would be a flood, but stubbornly resisted and refused God’s salvation. When they saw the flood befell and wanted to enter into the ark, the gate of grace had been closed and they all died in the flood. However, Noah seized this opportunity, obeyed God’s words, and led his family to build the ark. In the end, only Noah’s family of eight survived. Compared to the people in Noah’s time, people in this age are more evil and corrupt, and most people do not worship God, but pursue the evil trends of the world, advocate money, and pursue fame and gain. But God has mercy on us humans and once again becomes flesh and comes to the world to save us, bringing us all the truths we need to be cleansed of sin and to enter the kingdom of heaven. Therefore, whether we can accept God’s final salvation is so critical for us. Just as God says, “Awaken, brothers! Awaken, sisters! My day will not be delayed; time is life, and to seize back time is to save life! The time is not far off! If you fail the college entrance examination, you can study and retake it as many times as you like. However, My day will brook no further delay. Remember! Remember! I urge you with these good words. The end of the world unfolds before your very eyes, and great disasters rapidly draw near. Which is more important: your life, or your sleep, your food and drink and clothing? The time has come for you to weigh these things.”

Hoping to Follow God’s Footsteps, But Worrying About Being Deceived?

I want to ask a question: It is said in the Bible, “Then if any man shall say to you, See, here is Christ, or there; believe it not. For there shall arise false Christs, and false prophets, and shall show great signs and wonders; so that, if it were possible, they shall deceive the very elect” (Matthew 24:23-24). As mentioned above, false Christs and false prophets will deceive believers in the last days when the Lord Jesus comes again. We believers in the Lord are longing for His return. However, when hearing someone preaching the Lord’s second coming, we often dare not approach them or investigate the gospel for fear of being deceived by the false Christs and false prophets. So, how exactly can we solve this problem?

We Christians pay close attention to the topic of the Lord’s second coming, for it is a major event concerning whether our beliefs are approved of by the Lord. Today, in the last days, we all know it is the time when the Lord will come again. Therefore, many people are eagerly expecting to welcome the Lord’s return at an early date and see the Lord. But at the same time, they remember the Lord Jesus’ admonitions to man, “For there shall arise false Christs, and false prophets…,” and treat any news about the Lord’s return with caution and prudence for fear of being deceived. Many brothers and sisters in the Lord have this kind of conflicted feelings. So, how can we follow in the Lord’s footsteps and avoid being deceived?

In fact, the crux of the matter is to have correct interpretations of the Lord’s words. The Lord Jesus said, “Then if any man shall say to you, See, here is Christ, or there; believe it not. For there shall arise false Christs, and false prophets, and shall show great signs and wonders; so that, if it were possible, they shall deceive the very elect” (Matthew 24:23-24). The Lord’s words indicate that we should be cautious and discerning about the news of the Lord’s return while waiting. They certainly don’t forbid us to seek His return because false Christs appear during the last days. If we fear being deceived by false Christs, and refuse all the news about the Lord’s return, we will never meet the returned Lord Jesus. That’s because when we are blindly guarding against false Christs, the Lord has long ago returned and has raptured those believers who seek and investigate the true way into the kingdom of God. We shouldn’t “give up eating for fear of choking.” Many people who think themselves wise often stumble over this, while, by contrast, the wise virgins are watching and waiting, as well as seeking, with a humble heart, as in the Lord’s words “My sheep hear my voice” (John 10:27). Only those who can recognize God’s voice can follow in the Lamb’s footsteps and are the ones blessed by God.

In the Last Days, God Brings Us the Way to Cast off Sin and Enter the Heavenly Kingdom

Seeing the greater and greater catastrophe, many believers yearn more urgently to welcome the Lord and to be brought into the heavenly kingdom. But they are also afraid that they cannot enter the kingdom of heaven because of living in sin. Don’t worry! Now the Lord has become flesh and come secretly. He expresses the truth, does the work of judgment beginning with the house of God, and brings us the path to escape from sin and enter into the kingdom of heaven. Let us look at what God’s word says.

What Does “No One Knows the Day or the Hour” in Matthew 24:36 Mean?

We all hope to welcome the Lord’s return. Nowadays, the four blood moons have already appeared; earthquakes, famines, plagues and all sorts of other disasters are becoming more and more frequent. The prophecies of the Lord’s second coming have basically been fulfilled. And there are many people who are publicly testifying online that the Lord Jesus has returned. But many brothers and sisters are confused: “The Bible clearly says: ‘But of that day and hour knows no man, not the angels of heaven, nor the Son, but My Father only’ (Matthew 24:36). How could those bearing witness know that the Lord has come back? Has the Lord truly returned? How can we welcome the Lord?” These are important questions that relate to whether we can welcome the Lord. Let’s explore them together.

Do You Know the Meaning of God Taking Different Names?

As to God’s name, it is a very important aspect of the truth. It is written in Exodus 3:15, “And God said moreover to Moses, Thus shall you say to the children of Israel, Jehovah, the God of your fathers, the God of Abraham, the God of Isaac, and the God of Jacob, has sent me to you: this is My name for ever, and this is My memorial to all generations.” Exodus 6:2–3 says, “And God spoke to Moses, and said to him, I am Jehovah: And I appeared to Abraham, to Isaac, and to Jacob, by the name of God Almighty, but by My name JEHOVAH was I not known to them.” These verses show that God did not have a name in the beginning. At that time, God was just called “God.” God only took the name “Jehovah” when He called Moses to lead the Israelites out of Egypt. That is, God had the name Jehovah when He began the work of saving mankind.
