Mark 9:23 – All Things Are Possible If You Believe

Jesus said to him, If you can believe, all things are possible to him that believes.

– Mark 9:23

Thoughts on Today’s Verse…

You can get the solution in everything if you have faith in God. Even more, Jesus said with faith, we can remove the mountain (See Mat 17:20). We think it an impossibility, but it is possible for those who have faith.

Many stories about faith in the Bible have proved it. For example, Moses led the Israelites across the Red Sea; Daniel and his two friends survived the fire; Jairus’ daughter was resurrected from death; The woman with an issue of blood was healed … We can feel the power of faith after reading these stories. There can be a miracle when we believe.

Of course, these are the manifestations of God’s power. God bestowed upon them what they asked for and saved them from disasters. Their faith was not just words but they had stood firm in real life trials. For instance, Daniel and his two friends were threatened to be burnt to death in the fiery furnace if they didn’t worship the golden image that the king had set up. But they didn’t betray God and said, “Our God whom we serve is able to deliver us from the burning fiery furnace” (Dan 3:17). According to their faith, God saved them from the fire and they didn’t get hurt.

In real life, we meet with many things that are not as expected, but it’s the best time to refine our faith. When we learn to obey God, God will surely guide us to get through all difficulties.
